The line graph demonstrates the amout of fish and tree different kinds of meat consummed by Europeans from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, it is evident that the consumption of red meat like beef and lamb decreased while the consumption of chicken increased over the period of time. The amount of fish consummed in the country was lowest and remained steadily.
At the beginning of period, the beef was the food that was consummed highest, at more than 200 grams per person a week while the amount of lamb consummed was only 150grams per person per week. After 35 - year period, the consumption of both declined but the consumption of beef was still higher than the lamb, 100 grams per person a week compared with 60 grams per person a week, respectively.
During 35 years, the consumtion of chicken increased noticebly. From about less than 150 gram per person a week in 1979, the amount of chicken consummed in 2009 grew up to around 250 grams per person a week in 2009. The consumption of fish during these years did not fluctuated. It still stayed around 50 grams per person a week through 35 - year period.
