Overall, in all six nations, the investment of water in the usage of agriculture accounted for the highest percentages as compared to that of other categories. While the utilisation of water in domestic use of all countries saw a minimal surge, opposite trend can be observed in the industrial uses of water.

To begin with, water used by domestic sectors in North America and South America comprised for a minor margin of proportion, nevertheless there was a vast difference in the percentages of agriculture use and industrial use of water. Besides this, in Europe, industrial department consumed a higher water which was 19% and 38% higher than other to usage of water.

Secondly, in Central Asia, the proportion of water used by agriculture experienced a 4% rise in comparison of Africa. However, it had experienced a downfall of 3% after in south-east Asia, but it remained to the highest percentages all-time in accordance of all sectors.

Thirdly, there was a 2% plunge of water used in domestic area in Central Asia as compared to the proportion of water in Africa which was 9%. On the other hand, in both the nations Africa and Central Asia, the water used by domestic phase was 2% greater than industrial area which was 7% and 5% respectively.
