The pie charts illustrate the usage of water in six different parts of the world for different intentions.

Overall, water is widely used for Agriculture except that of Europe and North America on Industrial sector. The domestic purpose remains at a minimum level.

The majority of the usage of water in the Agricultural sector is nearly the whole of the total in Africa, Central Asia, and SEA while South America has nearly three-quarters. Although Domestic use is nearly a fifth in South America which marks the highest figure among the categories, the previous areas except for Africa accounted for just below a fifth.

For industrial purposes, North America and Europe have the largest proportion with 48% and 53% respectively as compared to Agricultural use to just nearly 2 quarters of the total. Furthermore, Domestic use in the same areas has just under a tenth and nearly a fifth respectively. Also, in South America, Africa, SEA, and Central Asia the total percentage plays between 12% to 5%.
