Some people believe that universities should require students to take classes on ethics, whether others believe a school should focus only on academic issues. Which do you think better?
In my opinion, universities should focus on academic issues and not requiring students to take ethics classes because of two reasons. First, academic issues focuses on improving student's chances in the job industry. University prepares you to get a great job. This is one of the reasons why students go to the university. Second, taking classes on ethics is a waste of time in my opinion because students might already had taken these classes before coming to the university. In my case for example, I already took classes in ethics in secondary school and it was no need to take it again in high-school.
