Overall, cement is made using 4 main equipment and the manufacturing process consists of 5 various stages. Also, It requires 4 different materials to produce concrete.
Looking at the diagram in more detail, we can see that at the first step in the production of cement, limestone and clay are crushed in the crusher. Next, this powder is mixed and then the resulting mixture is put in a rotating heater before being put in a grinder, which turns the mixture into cement. Finally, the cement is packed into bags.
Turning to the process of concrete manufacture, gravel, sand, cement, and water is mixed together. To be specific, gravel (small stones) take up the largest proportion, at 50%, while the percentages of sand, cement, and water were 25%, 15%, and only 10%, respectively. At the final stage, all four materials are put in a concrete mixer.
