The diagrams illustrate numerous proposed changes to a road system to reduce the number of road accidents.
It is clear that the main change will be made to the areas which frequently have accidents. These involved a new roundabout and new traffic lights.
Looking at the picture in more detail, we can see that there will be an addition of a large roundabout at the intersection of Forest Road and City Road. Currently, this area is a hotspot for crashes. Moreover, they also installed 4 new traffic lights on the west side of the City Road as the entrance of the school is an accident-prone area.
The two maps also show that changes will also be made to the City Road and the supermarket. A part of the City Road will be straightened to improve traffic safety. Finally, according to the plan, the supermarket will be accessed via a designated driveway from the east side of the roundabout.
