Write a letter to a friend to ask for his/her help to collect money for a charity organization. The letter needs to cover the following details.
- why do you want to collect money for the charity organization?
- Ask your friend to help
- explain in detail how your friend can help.
Dear Samira,
As you know that I am involved in philanthropic work and keep on working on projects which helps people to come out of illness. This time I have taken the voluntary responsibility to collect funds for cancer patients. I am writing this letter to seek your help to collect money for cancer patients in United Kingdom.
Currently I am working for charity organization named ‘Prohuman’ which have offices in 19 countries especially in developing and under developing nations. Since I am studying in U.K, I choose the United Kingdom because I believe that my study would not be affected much.
Last week, I have started this campaign in London and provided training to members to members based out in London and near areas. We have also created computer based training which helps other members to understand whole program and how individual can help the patients in United kingdom. Though you are busy in study at university, I expect that you spread this campaign by email or word of mouth in your university.
Let me know if any queries. I am looking forward to getting help from you on this program.
With Regards,
Jama
