You have just rented an unfurnished flat and a friend has told you that the Opportunity Shop in the shopping center has cheap second-hand furniture.
Write to the shop owner
1- Describe what you need
2- Ask whether they have these items
3- What items cost.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in some second-hand furniture to buy from your shop in the shopping center.
I have just rented an unfurnished flat where in the city center near to your shop, and I came to know from one of my friends that your shop sells a second-hand furniture. I was searching for a couch, four chairs and tea-table for my large living room. In addition to special appliances for the kitchen. There are several shops around, but I could not have chosen a better shop due to your prices.
The attached list contains all items which needed for my flat; however, the most urgent ones are highlighted in yellow for your advice if these are currently available at your shop. Recently, similar items were purchased from your shop to my neighbor when he shifted next-door flat.
I have your recent leaflet of this month. All prices are listed, but no indication for the second-hand furniture. I would therefore that you send me the cost of all highlighted items through the attached paper and consider two years warranty on the electric appliances.
I look forward to receiving your feedback.
Yours faithfully,
Ayoub
