TPO-46 - Integrated Writing Task
Both the reading passage and the lecture focus on differential points of view on whether it is beneficial to record medical information in electronic databases or on paper. However, the materials provided by the author indicate that electronic storage bases are more lucrative. The lecture, on the other hand, provides evidence to refute perspectives in the reading passage.
Fist, the reading delineate that electronic records are not costly and they dont accumulate too much spaces. Further more they can be easily duplicated or moved to be used in different places. In contrast the professor contradicts that by saying that keeping electronical records is also prohibited and and they just are holding as emergency.
Second, the author concedes that electronic medical records decrease the prospective errors and will prevent the serious and perilous consequences of handwriting errors. However, the lecturer casts a shadow of debts on that because many doctors use pen to record their patients background in their offices at examinations so electronical records will not conclusively eliminate the mistakes
Last, the reading believe that electronical records will provide doctors with thousands of patients record even in their houses or any research locations. The professors oppose that by saying, there are many strict laws that prevented doctors to inform about any patient records without permission. And she mentions that many patient have blocked their medical records.
