The reading article states that the new, privatized indrusty will bring bgreat benefits to bot science and the public and gives three reasons for that. However, the speaker casts doubt on each point of the reading and claims that privatized industry will not benefit to science and public and gives three arguments for that.
First of all, the author states that private space travel will benefit serious space exploration by making spaceflight cheaper. On the other hand, the speaker challenges this point of the reading by stating that new, privatized industry is expensive. Furthermore, he adds that space technology will need special equipment to prevent colloision. A new technology design need to be retested before working on it for safety purpose. This will need much amount of money. So there should not be expectation of making spaceflight cheaper.
Next, the author posits that privatization of space travel will accelerate the rate at which important scientific discoveries occur. In contrast, the speaker casts doubt this point of the reading by explaining that discoveries are likely to be made slowly. It would delay for discoveries to be made. There is no scientific value in the aerospace industry. As a result, the results of discoveries would be suffered.
Finally, the author avers that the expenses of space travel will be borne by the customers of the industry and private spaceflight operators will be able to raise funds through ticket sales. However, the speaker contradicts by mentioning that there is no chance of financial benefits to spaceflight operators. Privatized industry will increase the public text rate because it will need many billion dollars to start airspace flight. These airspace operators are not able to raise in amount of money. They are not paid money even they should be paid for vacations.
