Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is most important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion ?
Unconsciously, many languages have already disappeared in this world. Public assume that this will be worth while for the future, and our life becomes simple with several them. However, I somewhat disagree with that statement.
The languages have a crucial position in world society. They bring our identification. Every nation has unique accent and word. Diversities are able to find on songs, poems, daily speaking. Indonesia, for instance, has Indonesia Raya as its national anthem. Another country like New Zealand is famous with good defences as a national song. Furthermore, our knowledge will enhance. Many students learn history in one area from their language. They discover a variety of cultures on monuments, building or ancient tools. They can open understanding at past situation such as, in the kingdom era through old agreements. Moreover, if I know about specific dialect in some places, it makes me easy to build friendship with local people. They more respect to foreigners and close with us. For example, in Papua. The eastest Indonesian Island, locals always welcome to visitors who especially communicate by traditional languages.
On the other hand, a solid language of all nations can encounter development in many sections. Not only the politic issue but also economy sectors will grow fast. For example, when they do a transaction, buyers and seller simply need a few minutes to make a deal. In addition, citizens of the world do not require long time to study languages. They had better use that opportunities to learn other activities such as, technology.
Finally, personally, I do not agree that the various languages collapse of civilization will deliver comfortable live. There are many reasons of that. However, other views may give proper benefits.
