tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
You should write at least 150 words.
You should spend no more than 20 minutes on this task
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you in connection with the lost camera which was covered under the insurance policy number 6567. During my recent visit to India, I lost my brand new Cannon 650M camera, while travelling in a train. It was 2018 model camera with dual lens system which costed me $250 and was covered under warranty for 2 years.
I was travelling to India on a vacation for two weeks from 1st June to 14 June this year. While there, a trip was planned for New Delhi to visit the Red Fort, for which we boarded the Metro from HSR layout. Since it was a weekday, the Metro was extremely crowded with office goers. Once deboarding the train, we realized that while trying to get off the train, I had lost the camera. The train had already departed by the time I had realized what had happened. I lodged an FIR at the local police station, but have not received any intimation regarding the camera. Fortunately for me, I had insured it at the time of purchase.
I would like you to go through my policy and help me complete all the formalities to get the cost reimbursed at the earliest. I have attached copies of all the documents related to insurance and warranty with this letter.
Looking forward for a prompt response from you.
Yours Faithfully
Aparna R
