Task 1:The table below shows the percentage of the population by age groups in one town who rode bicycles in 2011.

The table compares the proportion of people using bicycles in 5 age groups and by gender during the year 2011.

Overall, while children aged 0-9 years hold the highest position in both male and female groups, people among 40-59 aged group took the least rate in both two gender group.

In term of female group, 51.3% children among 0-9 age group using bikes. Following it was the teenagers and adults group which are just 42.2% and 17.1% respectively. The elderly are likely to ride bicycles more than the middles-aged group

In term of male group, most people using bike is from 0-9 years old. Which is accounted for 50.3%. While the percentage of people drive bicycles among teenagers and people over 60 years old was 24.6% and 13.2% respectively, the young adults and middle-aged were lower at just 9.7% and 8.0% respectively.
