The line graph represents the amount of acid rain provided by industries like transport and communication electricity, gas and water supply, domestic and other industries.
Overall, electricity, gas and water supply and other industries produced more acid rain than domestic and transport and communication. Beside, the quantity of acid rain provided by electricity, gas and water supply and other industries were descending while domestic and transport and communication remained.
In 1991, the amount of acid rain produced by electricity, gas and water supply was highest out of all 4 sectors, it was about 3,3 million tonnes. Followed by its other industries whose acid rain emissions was just over 2 million tonnes. Next is the quantity of acid rain provided by transport and communication industries which was around 0.7 million tonnes. And tat the bottom of graph is the acid rain emission of domestic, it was just over 0.5 million tonnes.
Between the year of 1995 and 1997, the quantity of acid rain of electricity, gas and water supply and other industries experience a significant drop and it was around 1.7 million tones. The same situation happened with the acid rain emission of transport and communication industries and electricity, gas and water supply which was just under 1 million. By the end of the time period surveyed, other industries had the highest amount of acid rain out of 4 sectors and the acid rain emissions of domestic still sat the bottom.
