Firstly, unlike the lecture, the author points out that the public has problems hence private collectors do not let to see fossils which makes to decrease public interest in fossils. The speaker, however, goes on to say that this can lead to increase fossils.
Second, the author feels that scientists lose to some of the most crucial fossils and they are not able to compete
