The first diagram provides reveals the process of creating cement while the second one shows how cement is used to produce concrete for construction purpose.
It is evident that concrete production process take fewer steps than that of cement production procedure. However, the latter process needs more materials to obtain final product.
As of cement manufacturing process, there are five stages. First, limestone is put on a clay and passes through a crusher and become a powder. Next, this powder goes through a mixer before transferring into rotating heater where this powder works with heat. Afterwards, the mixture go into a grinder where the cement comes out. At the last stage, the cement is packed in bag.
As of concrete creation process, there are four elements are mixed altogether with a combination of 15% cement, 10% water, 25 % sand and 50% gravel which is a kind of small stone. These mixtures are put in concrete mixer which will rotate until concrete is made.
