Every one could make mistake, and teacher or leaders make no exception. People response to those mistake in different ways. From my perspective, I would like to wait until the class or the meeting is over and then discuss with them.
To begin with, it would leave people who made mistakes a good impression. Since you did not interrupt them and point out their mistake, which could hurt their feelings or let them lose face in front of all the stuffs or students. To illustrate this idea, I would like to use the example of myself. In a computer system course in my university, I noticed that the professor made a calculation mistake which is also noticed by others. They raised their hands and pointed out the mistake. The professor seems unhappy for the feeling of lost of authority in front of all the students. However, after the class, I privately talked with him about several details of that mistake, and we became closer after then. As the result, I believe leaving the problem until the class or the meeting is over is a better option.
Another reason to endorse my view is that pointing out the question would let the speaker feel that you listened to what they said and tried to understand it. Usually, the leaders or the teacher could be thankful to someone who points out the problem. Still use the example of my professor. Last time when I was participating one of his programs, I found a bug in the code of the demo. Instead of speaking out in the presentation, I found him after the presentation, and he was impressed by my observation and promised to write the recommend letter for me.
Even if we take a step backward, says that we could remain silence. However, it is not good in the long run, since it would let the teacher or the leader look down upon you ability. Last time, when my professor made a mistake and then found it by himself, he seriously doubt all of us are not listening. Therefore, I still strongly believe that we still need to point out the problem, but not immediately.
To wrap it up, although it could be hard to choose the right method in the first place, especially when it is taken into consideration under various situation in the real world, I still believe it is better to have a sincere talk after the class or the meeting is over.
