There are several reasons that people enjoy doing extreme sports. One of the most important reason would be being the center of attention. Most of these people try adventurous sports such as base jumping or skydiving and filming themselves during the activity to share it in social media like Instagram or YouTube and then enjoy the fame and reputation of their actions. Moreover, some thrill-seekers willing to do dangerous sports because of the amount of Adrenaline and Endorphin release in their body. It is scientifically approved that these type of activities cause Adrenaline addiction in people and every time they do extreme sports they want more next time. Another scientific reason could be lack of Serotonin molecules in the brain of risk-takers that lead to less anxiety and more tendency to do such activities and risk their lives.
Some recommendation exists to reduce the harmful effects of dangerous sports. One of the most important ways could be educating people and making them aware of the negative consequences. For example, most of the people might know nothing about Adrenaline addiction that is caused by doing extreme sports. Furthermore, another reasonable way to tackle this problem could be using high-quality safe suits and equipment. In fact, equipment plays a vital role in saving the risk-takers life. Thus, educating people about the consequences and using equipment would be beneficial to decrease the mortal rate of such these sports.
To conclude, although dangerous activities are harmful and risking people’s lives, it has their own fans and there are some remarkable reasons such as Adrenalin addiction, a tendency to being famous or biologically characteristics.
