The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of bricks until the delivery to the specific destination.
To begin, the raw material for the manufacturing process, clay is dug up from the soil using a large digger. Then, these are placed on a metal grid and sieving is done to remove the larger particles. Thereby it facilitates placing the particles with desired size are on a roller. Thereafter, the clay particles are mixed with sand and water to make the mixture for the production. Subsequently, the mixture is made into bricks either using a wire cutter or a mould. The next step is to oven dry the bricks for 24-48 hours.
After that, the bricks undergo several heating and cooling processes. The initial step is to heat the bricks at moderate temperature range of 200 0C – 980 0C followed by high heating temperature of 870 0C – 1300 0C in a kiln. Then, the bricks are allowed to cool in a cooling chamber for 2-3 days. Finally the bricks are packed and delivered to the destinations.
