The article claims that there is no guiltiness using animals to research about drugs and pills. So, supports the usage of animals which is called vivisection by showing several reasons.
The author of the reading claims that, Since the main idea of the researches in science is minimize the harm of the human these experiments must be done. Furthermore, the animals are not getting that much harm in the experiments, them suffer is always keeping minimum and anaesthesia is using if it is possible in the experiment process. The author of the article is adding, there is not another alternative instead of animal to use in experiments. Chimpanzees’ genes and human genes have %99 similarity. And the other animals which is used in the experiments and humans have similar daily life style. At the end, there are also so many examples are shown by the author of the text found by the vivisection. Such as germ theory, penicillin and insulin. The researchers used chickens, pigs, rabbits and mice to found these cures in the history.
In the lecture, professor totally against the writer of the reading. She is claiming that there no way to accept the vivisection and use the animals in the scientific experiments. Whatever claimed in the article, animals are getting so much toxic chemicals because of the experiments because she saw them in her laboratory life. And she claims, there are so many cures which has not found by vivisection such as aspirin, she also claims that besides the similarity of the genes if aspirin were used in cats and dogs they would be poisoned but in the horses it has no effect.
She concluded, there is no excuse to use animals in the scientific experiments.
