The Development of country is directly proportional to the development of transport system. It is clear from the fact, Most of the developed countries have fastest, easiest, cheapest and most preferred mode of transport for their citizens. When the question arises ,whether the government should fund more on railways or on roads?; people seem like to have different suggestions. But personally i agree investing on railways is best and helps in the improvement of the country. This essay will argue why government must fund more on railroad line instead of roads.
Train carries more goods and people when compared to buses, whereas they carry only very few. In the past 10 decades, car population have increased a lot which resulted in congestion on road. People find difficult to travel on road during the rush hours and end up regret for reaching their desired place late. The recent study on pollution report shows, 80% of air pollution is due to vehicles on road. Hence improvement of railway system than roads helps to decrease the pollution and also in the improvement of health among population.
Traders relay on railways networks for solid transportation. And also highway casualties are highly noted than railway casualties. Perhaps,The private cars and public buses may be suitable for short distance travels. But cannot be comfortable for long distance voyage. A Recent survey showed, Most of the citizens prefer train in order to save their valuable time on travelling. Therefore, Feasibly government must spend large amount of money on railway networks.
This essay argued about investment by government should primarily focus on the improvement of railway system. since they have to prioritize the requirements of the citizen. In my opinion, Invest on railroad is a prudent idea.
