The three diagrams below show the development of, and plans for, the coastal zone of Brightzone
The diagrams depict the improvement and plans for the coastal zone of Brightzone. The first diagram shows the condition of Brightsea in 1950, the second shows today’s condition and the last shows the development planning.
Generally, there is no changing in terms of general design. The improvements are only adding new buildings and services.
Today, the improvements from 1950 are the additional of ferry wharf. The hotel is improvement for keeper’s and café is the substitution of fishermen’s cottage. In the planning of development, there would be restaurant and apartments as the changing of café, car park in front of shop, telecommunication antenna and place for sailing club.
Interestingly, there is no changing of lighthouse position from 1950 to the planning of development. The location is always in the center of Brightsea.
To sum up, the development of Brightsea would provide more buildings and services to their customer.
