Overall, the majority of Americans ate in fast food once a week or once a month in all three years.
At first, in 2003, eating once a week and once or twice a month had the most frequency at about 60%. Then, between 2003 and 2006, the total proportion of people who consumed fast food either once a week or several times a week in restaurant declined by about 8%. However, the frequency of having fast food once or twice a month experience a boom over the mentioned period and peaked at 34% which was the maximum reported number of the chart.
Moreover, people who never ate and ate daily had the least share (9%) in 2003. Following this, they experience a small fall of about 2% in 2006 and then remained stable. Conversely, a few times a year figure rose up gradually by nearly 2% in 2006 and did not change in the following 7 years.
