Given pie charts compares the cost of households in five categories in two Asian countries in 2010. Other goods and services contributed the major share in Malaysia while housing stood first priority in Japan.
Firstly, Other goods and services and food contributed more than half of the total expence in Malaysia whereas in Japan housing itself accounted more than one third of total cost. Health sector was the lowest in both Malaysia and Japan with 3 and 6 percentage respectively.
Secondly, transportation facilities took the second lowest expenditure in Malaysia with only 10%, on the otherhand Japanese spend double amount for the same. Housing costs of Japan was very less compared to Malaysia.
Overall, housing, food and other sectors contributed the major share in both countries incontrast, health sector and transportation were the least prioritised .
