The given graph depict amount of products which are carried with four vriety of transportation systems in the united kingdom commencing from 1974 until 2002. In general, all four methods of transporting are in a upward trend during the period, which road with substantial increase of nearly double is the outstanding way of transporting system.
As presented in the graph, pipeline mode has a gradual increase to 20 million tonnes from 1974 to approximately 1995. Whereas it levelled out from then until the end of period. Rail and water with steady unchanged state remained in 40 million tonnes until water way selected upward trend to 60 million tonnes while rail system after steep decline tendency untill 1995, came back to commencing point of 40. Road which was the overwhelming portion of 50 million tonnes, had a oscillation trend untill 1995 then with a dramatically rise reached to the summit of 100 million tonnes in final year of 2002.
To conclude, all the methods had a gradual trend from 1974 to 2002.
