Important exam for high school and university admissions have been a huge pressure for both parent and student. What some reason for that?
I have a younger sister who is in grade 12. I am a tutor and my students are in grade 9. So, I’m easy to understand their feeling who will have an important examination in their life. In fact, they often feel stress, pressure and their parents do it too. Why do they feel that? Today, I will tell about some causes that I know.
First of all, this examination is important with students. It just organizes once time a year to approve for university or high school. They have to pass this exam to continue their study. If they want to choose a school or university that they want, they must study hard. Therefore, Students need to concentrate on their study. They don’t have any time to relax. If they don’t pass this exam they can learn at school they don’t want or go on revise and take part in another exam next year. Besides that, parents’student must take care of them, and they sometimes scare that their children can’t past this exam, they scare their neighbor or their relative’s saying about their children.
Second, the exam for high school and university admissions too hard to pass with some students, for instance, my sister. Although they study hard, spend much time to learn, they still don’t understand how to do that Math or Literature’s exercise. In general, they feel tired and stress because of that reason. Their parents worried about their study and they are pressure too.
Last but not at least, some parents put many expectations on their children. They want their children to pass this exam with high score. Some parents want their children to study at a popular high school or university, so they oblige their children to study all day, all night. Because they think it’s good for students. Perhaps, it can help them proud of their children with their neighbor. I’m not in favor of put parent’s desire on their children. It’s not good for them, both parents and their children.
In conclusion, it’s has many reasons make students and their parents be pressure when they have a coming examination. It has some causes like an important exam, hard exam, parent’s expectation on their children. Therefore, I hope that we can stand by our children, our sister or brother. Sharing their feeling and help them pass everything.
