the graph shows the spending on research into renewable energy for four countries from 1975 to 2000.
The line chart illustrates that how many expenditures four western countries have spent on the eco-friendly energy between 1975 to 2000.
It is easy to notice that there was no money allocation in this area among the four countries in 1975. During the first five years, the figure for Switzerland and Denmark shared the same similarity, soared to 2.5 dollars per person and 1.8 dollars/p/p respectively, after which one in Switzerland constantly jumped to the peak(5.2) in the 2000 and far more than other counterparts. As for the expense that Denmark government spent, it nearly remained the same pattern from 1980 to 1995 and suddenly skyrocket to 3 dollars/p/p in 2000.
By contrast, the number of the UK suffered a 0.7 decrease though it gradually reaches the highest point in 1985 and exceeded one for Spain. At the same time, Spain’s data climbed to 1 dollar/p/p in 1980 and fluctuate slowed to 0.9 dollars/p/p and outnumbered the UK’s spending after 1990.
Simply put, governments in Switzerland and Denmark showed great support for the development of eco-friendly energy and the development in the UK and Spain hardly processed some progress.
