It is quite evident that the employment sector has undergone monumental modifications in recent years. As every sector of the economy has upgraded and many young souls are on frequent hunt for better vocation in years tenure. This essay will be inclined more towards the pros of this ongoing practice but will also highlight few cons for the same.

Taking into consideration the benefits of shifting jobs on a periodic basis, the first and the foremost is the financial hike. It is factual that an individual's second or third job with relevant expertise supported with desired qualification tends to give hike on one's next pay scale. In exemplification, many employers prefer giving good cost-to-company for experienced candidates, the same can be justified from various job portals available.

Moving further with the succeeding advantage which is an exposure to oneself. Getting experience in different corporate segments, diverse culture and handling new challenges not only expand our mental horizons but also nourish our personal growth. To cite a specific example, the learning an individual gain from their previous jobs qualifies one to be more competent, efficient and effective in dealing with new challenges and have better comprehending power.

Every rose has its thorn, similarly, this phenomenon has few cons as well. Firstly, better salary doesn't always guarantee job satisfaction.It is true on the part that a new place may offer good pay scale and designation but may lack work environment, on the job benefits. As a result of this, the element of self actualization is missing from one's professional life which again further results in job change.

Epitomising, the benefits and drawbacks are there about the periodic shift in the vocation among young professionals, yet, seeing the psychological and financial gains of changing the employers hold more weightage.
