Dear Sir,
I am writing to bring to your consideration the problems I have been facing in the accommodation provided by the University. During our communication prior to taking admission in the course, you ensured me that the accommodation is reasonable; however, this is not the case anyway.
I have been studying in the morning session and come back to my hostel after 3:00 pm. The room 308 allotted to me is adjacent to the common bathroom as well as near to the playing area. Consequently, the entire neighborhood of my room is very noisy. Boys keep on playing in the evening time and their heavy voices neither let me sleep nor study.
Similarly, at the night when there is pin-drop silence in the rest of the hostel, the noise coming from the bathroom irritates. Moreover, there is some water spillage from the wall shared with the common bathroom which causes an unbearable odor in my room.
I was not expecting a five-star accommodation but at least something where I could live alive. The silence at the place to live is the foremost requirement for a student room. In addition to this, I have every right to expect a decent room without smell coming from the bathroom.
In this regard, I tried to talk to the administrator of the hostel but he refused to change my room owing to the reason that there is no vacant place. I would highly appreciate if you can intervene in the matter and either place me to a reasonable room or refund the entire amount of money I have paid for it.
