The citizens using motorized transport travel the greatest distance. The motorized transports include private car, sharing car, and train/bus. All of them vary between 17 miles until 24 miles. Non motorized transport like cycle even walking have the shortest journey, on average 4 miles only.
The inhabitants who use trains and buses take the longest time commuting to work. It is about 49 minutes. In contrary, both walking and cycling take the least time, 20 minutes on average.
In term of average speed, walking with 3 mph puts as the slowest. The motorized vehicles excluding train/bus tend to be the fastest way of travelling. People going together by car have speed on average 34 mph and people driving alone have an average speed of 31 mph.
Overall, it is quite understandable that motorized vehicle is the quickest way to travel although walking/cycling is the best for short distance traveling.
