The pie charts illustrate the ages of people who lived in Yemen and Italy in 2000 and who will live there in 2050.Overall, it is clear that the rate of people(15-59 years) is expected to rise to the largest among three kinds of population in 2050 in Yemen while that is projected to decline but still the biggest in Italy.
Starting with Italy, the proportion of people (0-14 years) is expected to rise from 46.3% in 2000 to 57.3%, the largest number in 2050. The same trend can also be seen in the figure for people (60+ years), but it is predicted to increase less significantly to 5.7% in 2050. However, the percentage of people (0-14 years) is forecast to decrease from the largest number (50.1%) in 2000 to 37.0% in 2050.
Turning now to the Italy, the rate of 15-59 year’s old people is predicted to drop from the biggest number (61.6%) in 2000 to 46.2% in 2050, but still the largest data. The similar trend also appears in the figure for 0-14 year’s old people, but it is projected to dip less significantly from 14.3% to 11.5%, both the smallest number in 2000 and in 2050. However, the rate of 60+ year’s old people is predicted to climb to 42.3% in 2050.
