Do you prefer to take a course taught by a professor with whom you have not had classes before or a course taught by a professor whose class you have taken before?
There are some moot points about which professor is better to take a course. The question of knowing the professor before taking a course or not has aroused as a subject of controversy among academicians. When it comes to my position, with weighing the pros and the cons, I strongly subscribe to the point that it is better for students to familiar with professors manner and had a class with his or her before. Everyone has his or her zeitgeist. I have some reasons the most outstanding of which will be aptly explicated in the ensuing paragraphs.
The first reason worth discussing here is that needless to say, each professor has his or her method, therefore, if students knowing something about their method they will be more successful in that course. Some professors are sensitive about present or absent students others are sensitive about classroom activities. Consequently, with understanding, these tips students can prosper in their courses. As a case to the point, I vividly remember when I was a student at the university we had two courses about soils mechanic with one professor. In the first term, I had not any information about the professor and was absent in some classes. The corollary of this action was my low-grade in the soils mechanic. After that in the next term, I knew our professor very well hence, I had not missed any class. Thus, I got the complete score in that course. My personal experience competently corroborates to the point that knowing the professor method before taking a class is very crucial for students.
By the same token, another paramount reason to be mentioned here is that when we know a professor and had a class with him or her, mutually, he or she knows us very well and familiar with our positive and negative aspect of us. In this situation, a professor can consider auxiliary projects or homework to boost their student's scores. My personal example demonstrates this reality in that soil mechanic courses in the second term, when my professor familiar with my difficulties in my job, allowed me to absent in some classes. As a result, this mutual familiarity helped me to earn the high score in that course. My personal experience shed some light to the point that it is very important for students to take a course with a professor who had a class with him or her before.
To wrap it up, according to the aforementioned reasons, I reiterate, it is very beneficial for students to be familiar with their professors. This point not only helps them to take a higher score but also, lead to mutual familiarity which is very useful.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
