- Explain why getting a job is a good idea for him / her
- Suggest types of jobs that would be suitable for him / her
Dear Mike,
How have you been?. Its been a long time since we last met. I recently received a letter from your side asking for my suggestion about whether to go to a college or try to get a job.
I believe you are at a critical juncture of your career where choosing one over the other can have serious implications. To elucidate As you have completed your tertiary education continuing your studies in the same environment will make you feel bored at certain stage moreover the nowadays trend is to gain industry experience before pursuing post-graduation studies as it helps in gaining vital industry experience and thus enhances the possibilities of getting admission in the best of the universities.
I am aware of the financial condition of your family I would strongly recommend getting a job so that you can support your family at this stage and at a later stage when you are financially stable you could pursue your post-graduation.
Since you are a computer science graduate I would recommend to look for jobs in technical roles like software testing and software design.
I hope you make the right decision and hope you to receive an update from you soon.
Warm wishes
