The given chart describes the distribution flow of Natural gas and obtaining of gas from various sources.
The main sources for Natural gas are from a Gas well, Oil well and importing through ships from distant places. The distribution to regions occurs in various methods like road, rails, and pipelines etc.
After obtaining gas from its source refining process happens in Gas plants, refineries etc before reaching the main storage. Once after the gas reaches the storage it is then distributed using pipelines to banks located at different regions. Later, from these storages, it then transported through road containers and rail wagons to retail storages and further to retail consumers in small amounts.
Rail wagons are expensive and can hold a capacity of 24000 liters whereas, containers using roads have larger storage of 40,000 liters and is less costly. The transported gas is then bought to retail stores which can hold up to a capacity of 120,000 liters from where it is further distributed using small delivery trucks to retail consumers.
