The given maps illustrates the undeveloped area of a small town called Islip and plan made to construct different housing and infrastructure to make the centre developed.
Overall, their is a great plan made to develop a town. The main principle change to the town will be a ring road. whereas, various other development with regards housing and shops has accompanied.
With regards to the Islip which is now, we can see that a main road runs through its centre from east and west. There are major small shops which is situated in the both side of main road.Schools in the southern part of the town town near housing area cover a small spaces and we can see a big park in the eastern part of centre now.
On the basic of construction plan that is made for development, Firstly in the north side of area, space has to be made for bus station, shopping centre and car parks. Pedestrians area should be placed in between infractures and small shops.However, new housing has to be made in northern and southern part of city respectively. While Dual carriage way should be placed in the ring road. Likewise, school and housing should be away from ring road.
