According to the data, even though people who live in Australia consumes the energy the most for heating and water heating, with 42% compared to 30% respectively, they utilize the lowest it for lighting(4%) and cooling (2%). Also, using energy for other appliances is almost double than refrigeration, at 15% and 7% consecutively.
On the other hand, this consuming energy causes to increase greenhouse gas emissions that are affected the most water heating and other appliances, with 32% and 28% sequentially. heating with 15% accounts for almost the same figures as refrigeration with 14%. Besides, greenhouse gas emissions are influenced by the least cooling which is approximately twice less than lighting.</span><br>
