The given pie Charts illustrate the information about proportion of effluents in particular part of sea during 1997 and 2007.
Overall, it is clear that pollutants from air were more over given period of time. It can be seen that the proportion of litter and farm waste was similar during 1997.
To begin with, during 1997, the proportion of domestic sewage was only 18%; whereas, after one decade the proportion increased and reached at 29%. There was 4 %farm waste in Ocean, which decreased by 2% in next 10 years. It is interesting to note that, the proportion of litter was almost negligible during 2007.
Probing further, the main pollutants were from air over given period which accounted for 29 - 30 %. In respect of industrial waste, it was 17%and 9% during 1997 and 2007. Surprisingly, only 5% of offshore oil was during 1997, the proportion increased by 7% after a decade. Marine effluents during 2007 were 5%more than 1997.
