Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to bring your attention towards a local library named "Ilm-a-Nush", which is being considered as a historical monument. The historical value of this edifice is unmatched, as it was the first library in India which was built by Akbar to study the Indian culture.
Although, the building is quite old, and no renovation work is done from the past few decades, but its pillars are still quite strong. Moreover, many enthusiastic readers visit it on a daily base, because it is the only library in our vicinity. However, the outer architecture of the building is made of stones, but the interior structure of it is now fragile. The fissures on wall and roof are apparent and widen, the paint and cement now dry and gritty as well, which is often found on books and study desks. Hence, I believe this heritage is in a devastating condition.
To avoid any catastrophic situation in future, the authority has to take some action plan now. I request you to please start the renovation and maintenance work as soon as possible, you can also ask locals for help and volunteer for this humble purpose by providing them the knowledge about the historical and current significance of this place.
Your Faithfully,
