This diagram illustrates the steps and equipments involved in the making of matchstick. This process involves multiple steps i.e. log being peeled and chopped, prepared, dried and then passed through storage area folowed by checmical treatment before being packed.
First, wood log is peeled using blade in peeler which further move to chopper where veener will be chopped into small pieces before being submerged in Ammonium Phosphate tank. Post Ammonium Phosphate tank, it will be dried on dryer and pass on to hopper from where it will move to storage area through metal duct by blower. Once in storage area, these matches will move further to inserter where the tip of these matches will be dipped into paraffin wax tank, based chemical tank and Tip chemical Tank. Post the chemical treatment, these matches will be dried again in Drying area from where they will go to Packaging area and will be packed.
