It can be clearly seen that the tendency in data about married people changed more steadily for eight countries in 1981 and 1994, while the figure for divorced fluctuated in the mentioned period.
In 1981, the number of people wedding in USA reached an all time high of approximately 10000 and then the figure in 1994 declined slightly to around 9000. In five European countries, the UK, Finland, Germany, France and Italy, it was observed a stability in the marriage rate, just over 6000 in 1981. However, in 1994 there was a slowly decreased in the number of people which married, particularly France saw the most tendency in decline in mentioned period. Similarly with European countries, in Japan the figure for married people was equal in both years and made up around 6000. There is the different pattern in Denmark, which the figure for marriage rose from 5,000 people to approximately 6,000 people over a period of 13 years.
Regarding the divorce statistic, it was noticeable that there was the highest figure for Americans about 5000. While Italy had the least divorces at nearly zero. Interestingly, Germany remained steady at 2 per thousand people from 1981 to 1994.
