The pie charts below illustrates the consumption of power use in an average australian house hold and the greenhouse gas emissions. It can be clearly seen from the charts that energy mostly uses in heating and water heating.
heating account for almost a half of energy use in australian household while in green house this figure is just 15 percentage. In addition, in both australian household and green house, amount energy use for water heating is approximately 30 percentage.
Beside that, other appliances power use in greenhouse is 28 percentage, more than 13 percentage in australian household whereas refrigeration used 14 percentage of energy, two time higher than australian household.
Furthermore, cooling and lighting do not use much energy in both house, the lighting power use in greenhouse is 8 percentage whilst in australian household is just 4 percentage. Finally, the percentage of energy use in both houses is just 2 and 3 percentage for australian household and green house.
