The graph and tables compare typical hospitals in several countries regarding their daily electricity consumption, local emergency calls and minutes fro patient assessment during a week.
Overall, there exists a positive relation/link between electricity use and the number of emergency calls. Hospitals in most countries witness an increase in the patient assessment time, with an exception in Russia.
The number of emergency calls to hospitals in Frane and Japan fluctuates, with 90 and 110 calls per day respectively. Canadian and Russian hospitals experience a dramatic rise of approximately 50 cases weekly while the figure for Argentina consistently decreases.
Electricity consumption and emergency call numbers share the same pattern. The use of electricity in French and Japanese hospitals are stable, with an average of 32mw for the former and 18mw for the latter. Hospitals in Canada and Russia consume more electricity in the last three days, whereas that of hospitals in Argentina declines a half by weekends.
Time for assessment remains the same in most countries, except Russia. Japanese hospitals spend a longer time per assessment (16m per case) than any other countries’ (approximately 12m per case). In Russia, however, assessment time increase sharply by 16m.
