Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to inquire about the availability of volunteer opportunities in some of the developing countries.
Let me explain to you why I am particularly interested in volunteering activities. On the first place, offering services either to the needy or some social causes really give me immense satisfaction. Furthermore, such activities allow me to interact with people from the various social and economic background that eventually, provide me with excellent opportunities to build my network.
I believe that I have adequate experience to take up this assignment. During my college days in my country, I have actively participated in many such events. For examples, I worked closely with Red Cross, people for physically challenged, Blue cross of India, and many such NGO by participating in their collection drives and assisting in various other activities.
Currently, I am preparing for my final semester, I will be having a month of leave in the month next post exams. Hence, I will be available to participate in volunteer work at that time and I will glad if you could provide me with opportunities to serve some of the African countries.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Akilan Palaniappan
