Dear Mr. Smith,
My name is Kumar S Sampad and I am a regular customer of your garment shop. I am writing this letter to express my extreme disappointment regarding customer service and a hidden policy that I have never before experienced in other branches of the same retail chain while purchasing clothes. Let me explain a bit more.
Last week, from the Danforth Avenue branch, I have purchased a readymade winter jacket from your new arrival section and that sales representative assured me that it will be waterproof and will be able to withstand even minus 30-degree centigrade. After coming to my home the real truth has been revealed that it was not being able to resist the penetration of water and within 2 to 3 minutes, it gets completely wet. However, as I was concerned about the return policy with the other branches, I went back to the shop instantly and asked for a change explaining the problem. I was completely shocked to experience the rude attitudes of the sales guy and as well as unprofessional behaviour of the section in charge. In fact, they tried to tell me another lie that returning goods will not comply with their sales policy. Unfortunately, that winter jacket is of no use to me as it can not block the moisture from the environment and get even really cold even in minus 5-degree centigrade.
I strongly ask you to take necessary steps for 100% refund in case of inability to replace. Otherwise, I must take the help of the Consumer Protection Act as a legitimate action as only your branch of the same retail chain is trying to make the customers fool with that so-called return policy. For your reference, the Invoice no. is A3020469, dated on 5th June.
I look forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
Kumar S Sampad.
