THE PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO OWN THE DEVICES FROM 2010 TO 2025
The line graph given illustrates the information about the number of electronic devices were owned, namely smartphone, laptop, smartwatch, tablet over the course of 15 years from 2010 to 2025.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the laptop had a period of stability while the other figures show an upward trend in the number of owners at the same time.
As regards to possessing devices, the laptop was the most popular consumption in 2010, about 60%. Subsequently, there was a moderate fluctuation over the next five years, although it reached a peak of 70% in 2015. Furthermore, this number is predicted to decline significantly in 2025, about 58%. Meanwhile, the least popular of 2010 was Smartwatch, just only 1%. However, the Smartwatch ownership was witnessed a gradual growth during the period from 2010 to 2020. The forecast is that this device will boom twice two times in 2025, approximately 40%
As for the tablet's proportion, it stood at 20% of the number of owners before going up in 2020 by 40 % ( from 20% to 60%) over the next ten years. Nevertheless, this rate is predicted to fall in 2025, just over 55%. This was the same for the smartphone. This number saw a considerable rise in 2020 after It just ranked second of ownership in 2010, 79% and 39% respectively. By 2025, it is expected that this number will rocket to the highest rate of 88 owners.
