The bar given illustrates that the proportion of expenditure the government expended on transportation in four countries, namely Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United Stated America over the course of 15 years from 1990 to 2005.
Overall, the amount of money used for infrastructure had a downward trend in Portugal while the other countries saw an increase in spending on daily community vehicles.
In 1990, Portugal provided the largest amount of money on infrastructure out of 4 countries, about 27%, while Italy used more than 20% of their expenditures to upgrade and expand public provision. At this point, stood at 10% of the UK revenue paid the down payment the least into the road and transport. The US spent slightly more than the UK, approximately 12%.
As for the fund on transport infrastructure, there was a significant fluctuation in investment in Italy, the UK and the USA over the 15 years, about 23%, 12 %, and 13% respectively. Subsequently, the spending of Italy and the UK fall considerably, about 5%. The USA was the only country that funded extra, where its percentage rose up to 15%.
