Looking at the graph, it is clear that there were two opposite trends, the proportion of unemployment in the USA experienced a downward trend while that of Japan witnessed a gradual increase per year.
On March of 2005, the top of joblessness level belonged to the USA with approximately 7%, on the contrary, the Japanese with no working only accounted the least for just under 2.5%. Over every year, this figure for two locations fluctuated slightly and the consequence was people no working in the USA decreased with average a half percent, keeping this situation over above 5 years following and its nadir at 5 %.
