Overall, the number of tourist increased from 1 million into 1.9 million in a decade.
The principal reason that tourists visited the city in 2006 was the annual events with 45% of preferences. By 2016, this type of activity decreased in 13% points but still continued as one of the favourites in second position. The second choice for tourism in 2006 was museums, which significant declined by 2016, they passed from 27% of choices to 11%, positioning in third place.
However, the primary reason had changed over the years. For 2016, the restaurants were on the top of the chart, showing an abruptly jump up from 10% to 41%. Meanwhile, the other types of events presented a little variation of grow, passing to the final of the chart in 2006 to the fourth place in 2016.
Finally, the theater never had been popular, also it went down 5 points of percentage by 2016.
