The bar chart below shows the top ten countries for the production and consumption of electricity in 2014.Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The given bar-chart classifies the ten highest countries in term of using and generating electricity in 2014. the vertical axis represents the rank (1 to 10) for each country, and the horizontal axis refers to the electricity production/consumption in billion kWh.

Overall, for all countries, the production rates were more than the consumption rates except for Germany. Also, the amount of generated and utilized electricity in both China and US equaled the total amount of electricity in the remainder eight countries.

In details, the generation and production rates could be categorized within different ranges. The maximum value was assigned to China with approximately similar production/consumption rate(5,300 billion kWh). This figure was descending in the second country (USA) , which was 4,099 in production and significantly less in consumption ( 3,866). Russia, Japan and India had almost similar production/consumption rate and they ranges between 1000 and 700 billion kWh. another groups were Canada, France, Brazil and Germany which produced/consumed electricity with in the range of (600 to 500) billion kWh.
the minimum tenth value was for Korea republic which was 4850 billion kWh in production and slightly similar in consumption.
