Describe the information presented below, comparing results for men and women in the categories shown. Suggest reasons for what you see.

The given bar chart compares the allocation of unpaid work (such as childcare in the home, housework, and gardening) per week that is spared by married male and female. Overall, many children that female has more time that they spend to the unpaid job while married male shows differently.

Married women with no children spend unpaid job about 30 hours in a week. This number increases to about fifty-one hours while they got 1-2 children. Furthermore, the allocation time is increasing again around nine hours if the married women got three or more children.

The different phenomenon appears in the married male data. When the married male has no children, they only spend no more than twenty hours in unpaid job. This allocation time is similar to the married male with 1-2 children. Uniquely, when the married male got three children or more, their spending time in an unpaid job decrease about two hours in a week or no more than one-third of the female spend.
